Special Operations / Fleet / Aircraft
Here are the requests I have for your assistance during State Fair-
LAW ENFORCEMENT DAY ON MAIN STREET
Thursday, September 4th
*Request Tact Team and EOD apparatus for static display on Main Street.
*Arrive on Main Street about 0800 to set up.
*Event concludes at 1500 hours
STATE FAIR PARADE
Saturday, September 6th
*Request NMSP Motors lead the parade as has become the annual tradition
*Lt. Carroll, per our conversation please plan to drive the Mustang right behind motors during parade
*If retro Crown Vic is ready by then, that would be awesome right behind mustang
*Any Tact / EOD apparatus available to be in parade- that was a huge hit last year
*report to Expo at 0700- we will stage in #1 lane of Central westbound at San Pedro and I will be there to coordinate all that.
HONOR GUARD & TACT TEAM FOR RAPPELLING
Wednesday, September 10th and Saturday, September 13th
*Set ropes and practice inside Tingley at 1500
*At 1600, a representative from Honor Guard and Tact needs to attend meeting at Tingley to discuss when to present colors and when to rappel from roof in Tingley at start of show
*Entire teams should plan to report at 1745 hours (doors open to public at 1745)
*Official show starts at 1845
HONOR GUARD ONLY and ABLE 7 (our Chief will likely be keynote speaker)
Thursday, September 11th (9/11 ceremony)
*Honor Guard post colors at Main & Heritage at 12:00 noon
*Aircraft conduct flyover down Main Street at approximately 12:15pm

* Lt. Carroll, I’d like to officially request the NMSP side-by-sides to be used during State Fair
* I would like to officially request the use of the new pole cameras I hear exist during State Fair if available by then
* FYI, I will be borrowing the D1 command post (My old command post) to use during State Fair
* My new command post (formerly the D6 command post) will be used for Tag Your Tots
