Our Community Engagement department, part of the Training and Recruiting Bureau, fosters mutual respect and understanding between law enforcement and the communities we serve. By partnering with community organizations and participating in community events, we strive to create a culture of trust and communication between law enforcement and the public we serve.
WHAT COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT DOES
Our Community Engagement department serves as public relations for the state police. They work to build bridges between law enforcement and the communities we serve through a variety of initiatives. We partner with community organizations and participate in community events to foster positive relationships and create opportunities for law enforcement to connect with the public. We also offer educational programs and resources to help individuals and families stay safe and informed, such as crime prevention strategies and personal safety tips.
