The Motorcycle Team department of the New Mexico State Police Special Ops Bureau provides high-speed patrols and escorts throughout the state of New Mexico. The team comprises highly skilled officers who are experts in handling motorcycles at high speeds and in challenging situations. Police Motorcycles hold a unique position, serving many functions such as traffic enforcement, patrol duties, dignitary duties, public relations, and special events. Motorcycles are highly maneuverable and valuable when running patrol ops in congested areas, including safety corridors.
